Kindle not connecting to wifi

The first thing to check if you are experiencing connection problems is Airplane mode. Verify sure your device is far away from anything that might be interfering with your signal if there are no WiFi networks nearby and the device is on a strong signal. A minimum of 20 feet should separate your Kindle from any other devices that use more than 5 Mbps (megabits per second). Try rebooting any network device you have in case they have been interfering with your Internet connection if you are still having issues.
